Church Pictorial Directory Team Information

SERVICE TITLE:
Church Pictorial Directory

PURPOSE:
The purpose is to ensure that the church pictorial directory is updated each year, or that a new edition is printed.

DEFINITION OF DUTIES:
- Organizing and working with outside venders to produce a pictorial member directory for our church family approximately every three to five years. Duties include setting appointments, making telephone calls, greeting members as they arrive for their appointments, and providing information.
- During the off years the group works to keep the directory up to date until the next directory is produced. Each year, updated address must be gathered. Arrangements should be made with the pictorial company. A bulletin announcing the opportunity to have family photos made is placed in the bulletin. Photo appointments are scheduled. Once all addresses have been updated and photos have been gathered, the directories are printed.
- This volunteer team then makes arrangements to distribute the directories.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organization and administration skills are neeeded. Historically, pictures have been made during May or August depending upon what works best with the church’s schedule. Planning meetings will be necessary prior to the actual photo dates.

50 hours over a 3-month time period, annually

TRAINING:
The training will consist of one-on-one instruction, job service description or in a group setting with Katrina Lindley.

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT:
One-year commitment.
